Design Engineering Supervisor
Adam Magdziarz is the Design Engineering Supervisor for Aearo Technologies. He received a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University. Adam has worked in the aerospace industry for over 25 years, beginning as a co-op student with Rolls Royce North America in Indianapolis. After graduation, he spent time with Cessna working on avionics mechanical installations before returning home to Indiana. Upon his return, Adam joined Butler International and served in various group lead positions, primarily with the Transmissions design team.
Adam has been with Aearo for 11 years, beginning as a designer in the Aircraft group. He assisted in the design of insulation kits for many VIP aircraft, and also oversaw sustaining engineering work for OEM customers. In 2016, Adam moved into a leadership role, serving as the Design Engineering Supervisor for the group and managed successful bids for Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) of insulation kits on several business jets. In 2023, Adam progressed into his current role overseeing both the Aircraft and Commercial Vehicle businesses. He guides his team in developing solutions for Aearo’s customers, designing parts to fit their installation needs, and assisting with the manufacturing and quality teams during production.
When not in the office, Adam spends time with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys running, golfing, watching baseball, and cheering on his alma mater in basketball.
