Edgar Patino joined Aearo Technologies in 2016 after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Since joining the company, Edgar has served as a Quality Technician, Quality Engineer, Business Quality Supervisor and is currently the Director of Quality overseeing Aearo’s Indianapolis, Newark, and Ensenada manufacturing facilities. Thanks to his quality experience and subject matter proficiency, Edgar has been certified by ASQ as a Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence as well as a Certified Lead IATF auditor by SAE. He is skilled in problem-solving methodologies as well as strategic management.

In his time with the company, Edgar has led various continuous improvement projects across all sites. He has partnered with various organizations to implement both quality improvement projects as well as new product introductions. Over the past three years, Edgar’s team has maintained its strong history of compliance by maintaining its registrations to the ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF16949, and FAA PMA regulatory standards. In his spare time, Edgar enjoys traveling to visit his family in Mexico. He enjoys many outdoor activities such as hiking, bike riding, and kayaking both locally and at national parks. Edgar is also fond of live music and standup comedy.
