Manuel Guaderrama is the Ensenada Plant Manager for Aearo Technologies. He has worked in the 3M manufacturing facilities in Edumex Juarez, Mexico for 22 years and 11 Ensenada.

Manuel holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Juarez Technological Institute as well as an MBA from Monterrey Technological Institute. After 5 years as financial auditor with Deloitte Hasking & Sells, Manuel joined 3M in the Juarez plant, progressing through various roles in accounting, IT, customs, HR, supervision, and continuous improvement, becoming Controller for 3M US Edusa and Mexico Edumex subsidiaries. In 2012, he accepted the role as Plant Manager for the Ensenada plant operation, acquired in that year by Aearo, being fully responsible for the integration to 3M standards and completing the transfer of manufacturing operations of the aerospace products then located in Canada. Focused on results, he has led the acquisition and construction of 3M plants in Juarez, different major systems integrations, equipment acquisitions and installation, and drives sales growth and operation optimization projects.

Manuel has a passion for creating the right environment for his collaborators, enhancing respectful teamwork, and providing clear goals to guarantee the success of the organization.

In his spare time, Manuel enjoys spending time with his wife, reading about politics and history, wine tasting, and traveling.
