At Aearo we like to show appreciation for all our hardworking employees, so we hosted a fun summer employee appreciation day on Friday July 21. Employees and families were treated to food, fun activities, and a variety of entertainment. The event kickstarted at noon with an amazing BBQ lunch including hamburgers, brats, chicken tenders, and a variety of sides. To beat the summer heat, Awesum Sno Cones also set up shop with snow cone and ice cream options.

A caricature artist was onsite doing some hilarious portraits, and there was face painting for the kids. Spiderman and Spider Gwen Stacy swung by, and Boomer from the Indianapolis Pacers and Rowdie from the Indianapolis Indians were there to hype up the crowd.

For those seeking a bit of adventure, axe throwing was available throughout the day and some brave souls could also take a shot at their managers and colleagues on the dunk tank. For a little added competition there was also cornhole and a limbo contest, plus several bounce houses and inflatable games for the kids.

We hope this celebration allowed our employees to relax and enjoy themselves while feeling valued and appreciated. We look forward to organizing more events like these to show our gratitude to our incredible team!
